To honour this spirit, Central Square Foundation’s #ClassroomHeroes campaign celebrates the invaluable contribution of teachers to learning. Anchored around Teachers’ Day (5 September) and International Literacy Day (8 September), the campaign shines a light on their role in shaping young minds, advancing literacy for all and laying the foundation for a brighter, more equitable future.

Through this campaign, we aim to amplify stories of resilience and inspiration from classrooms across the country — stories of teachers who innovate, adapt and go the extra mile to ensure every child learns. We also acknowledge the valuable collaborations and partnerships that help us take these stories to more people, deepening impact and strengthening collective action. Together, we not only celebrate teachers but also reaffirm our shared commitment to support and uplift the teaching community.
