This abstract provides a summary of the UDISE+ Report 2024, with all data drawn directly from the main report. The focus of this analysis is on the growth in the number of schools over multiple years (2021-22 to 2024-25) and student enrolment trends for 2021-22 to 2022-23, as available on 5 December 2024. Through a detailed trend analysis, we aim to identify key insights around the evolution of India’s school education system. The objective of this report is to inform stakeholders, including policymakers, about these trends, helping to ensure that India’s education system remains inclusive, accessible and adaptive to the changing needs of its diverse population.
